Depp is so uncomfortable with the idea of watching himself on film that he says he would rather “swallow a bag of ticks.” At least one person is extremely happy with this aversion - his frequent director, Tim Burton. Burton enjoys that Depp is not like a lot of other actors and does not need to playback his performances between takes. Johnny went on to say that it would probably take a few bottles of wine to ever get him to view any of his films!
